What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user's device and read again on the next visit. Similar technologies (such as data stored in the browser) are treated the same way.
Technical cookies
They are needed for the website to work and do not require consent:
- Your cookie choice: the website remembers in your browser whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies, so you are not asked on every page. You will be asked again after 6 months.
- Admin area: a session cookie used only in the website's administration area, which visitors cannot access.
Analytics and marketing cookies (only with your consent)
If you click Accept in the banner, the website enables the following services by Google Ireland Limited, through Google Tag Manager:
- Google Analytics 4: collects aggregated information about how the website is used (pages visited, visit length, device, source). Cookies: _ga, _ga_* (lasting up to 2 years).
- Google Ads (marketing): used to run, measure and improve advertising campaigns on Google Ads, for example by checking whether a visit coming from an ad leads to a contact request (form submission or a call from the website). It is not used to show personalised ads (remarketing): the website always denies Google this permission. Cookies: _gcl_au and other Google cookies (lasting up to 90 days).
- Visit source (dg_source, stored in your browser for 90 days): remembers how you arrived at the website (search, ad, direct visit…), so it can be included in your message if you contact me through the form. It is not sent to Google.
If you do not accept, or if you click Reject, these services are not loaded and no data is sent to Google. The content of the contact form is never sent to Google.
Data collected by Google may be transferred to the United States, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework to which Google adheres. More information: Google Privacy Policy, how Google uses data from partner sites.
How to change your choice
You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, Google cookies are deleted. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings.
Links to external websites
The "Get directions" link opens Google Maps in a new window: from that moment, Google's privacy and cookie policies apply.
